Rectinol Ointment 50g is specifically formulated to provide symptomatic relief from pain and itching associated with haemorrhoids, fissures, pruritus ani, and other non-infective anorectal conditions. 

Warnings

Do not use longer than 7 days without seeking medical advice. 

Do not use on children under 2 years of age without medical advice.

At the first sign of bleeding or if skin irritation occurs, stop use immediately and seek medical advice.

If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

Keep out of reach of children.

Use only if cap seal is unbroken.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 200mg/g, Cinchocaine Hydrochloride 5mg/g

How it works

Contains Cinchocaine hydrochloride – a local anaesthetic to soothe the pain of haemorroids and Zinc oxide- an astringent to soothe and protect irritated skin.

Dosage

Use up to three times daily (morning, noon and night) preferably after a bowel motion.

External Haemorrhoids- Apply a small amount of ointment using a clean finger.

Internal Haemorrhoids – Apply ointment as above then using the applicator provided insert in rectum and squeeze tube.

Do not use for longer than 7 days without seeking medical advice.
